Bid Preparation: The Bureau, as required, can assist clients with bid preparations and presentations to attract their respective conferences and events.

Facility Arrangements: The Bureau can assist in the determination and booking of appropriate facilities to accommodate your specific requirements.

Information Packages: The Bureau provides detailed information packages on the amenities and attractions available to all groups considering Windsor as a future event destination.

Letter of Welcome: If you wish, a "letter of welcome" from our Mayor can be included in your convention program or information packages.

Media Releases: If your group is hosting a conference in Windsor, Essex County or Pelee Island, we will prepare and send out your media and advisory releases to Canadian and U.S. media.

Promotional Items: Promotional items are available for sale to convention groups.

Site Inspections & Venue Reviews: The Bureau can arrange full site inspections of local hotels, facilities and attractions to persons considering Windsor as a future conference destination.

Spousal/Guest Entertainment Programs: The Bureau offers assistance to convention groups requesting spousal/guest and entertainment programs. We will discuss theme ideas and help plan a variety of activities or excursions in the city, county, and much more.

Ambassadors of Tourism: Our "Ambassadors" are a unique group of volunteers who give freely of their time to promote our area to visitors. They are comprised of enthusiastic men and women from all walks of life who are proud of our area and who delight in sharing it with others.

The Ambassadors' mandate is to provide assistance to the Convention and Visitors Bureau as it relates to conventions and organized group functions. This can include assistance with registration and dispensation of information at your convention, as well as 'tour guide' services for spousal/guest programs. 

Fountains of information on our attractions and the diversified amenities that exist in our area, the Ambassadors aim to create an atmosphere of relaxation and enjoyment suited to the needs of the group being hosted.

All in all, the Bureau will always try to provide a fun-filled package of entertainment that will appeal to both the young and young at heart! Our Convention Services Coordinator is happy to assist you with any of the above services.
