DAY 1
10:00 am PROCEED to FORD CITY to learn the history of Windsor’s “blue collar” workers as it comes alive through
vivid murals.
Time

distilling magnate, Hiram Walker - an integral part of Windsor's
history. Now a part of Windsor, Walkerville was once a 'company
town', with housing built specially for the various levels of Walker's
employees.
12:00 pm Keeping the “blue collar” theme, group will enjoy a ‘BROWN BAG
LUNCH" from a local eatery.
2:00 p.m. VISIT the CANADIAN CLUB BRAND HERITAGE CENTER, a beautiful Italianate building, replete with antiques. Tour features the
brand's history, its founder, a peek into the original offices and a brief video on the
whisky-making process. Highlights of the tour include their Art Gallery showcasing Canadian artwork – (many works from the renowned “Group of Seven”) – and a formal whisky information session.
3:30 p.m. GUIDED TOUR of the ART GALLERY OF WINDSOR where group will view some truly Canadian artwork including an excellent collection of Inuit Soapstone carvings and the
