A FRIGHTENING PROPOSITION!
The Convention and Visitors Bureau's latest tourism initiative, The Walking Past,
invites you to discover the ghosts among us! Tucked away in every corner of the City and
County are haunting tales of intrigue and suspense.
A regular schedule of 'walking theatre performances' in Windsor reenacts the spooky
goings-on in historic Olde Sandwich Towne with The Purple Theatre Company, drawing from
local historical legends, and truths. A self-guided tour booklet will enable the visitor
to delve deeper on their own ... if they dare ... into the not-so-hidden history of Essex
County & Pelee Island's former residents.
The tour program is available, by arrangement, for larger groups. Contact Sandra
Bradt, Director of Tourism.

SPIRITS OF A
DIFFERENT KIND
Windsor-Essex's wineries, brewer and distillery have joined together to offer
tours, tastings and more on the area's "Ale, Wine &
Spirits Trail!"
Each facility
offers it's own group packages... (here are samples of offerings at Colio
Estates and Muscedere
Vineyards), or put a few stops together and enjoy a day on the
'trail'!
Further information on the Trail is available from the CVB's Director of Tourism, Sandra Bradt.
