Southwestern Ontario Heritage Village brings together over a dozen buildings of local significance, which date to the late 1800s. The two-storey log cabin, the Olinda General Store, Woodslee Lock-up and Elford Church have been restored to their original state, and feature various pioneer demonstrations. The Transportation Museum displays modes of transportation from the mid-1800's onward, from a horse-drawn hearse and fire trucks to the oldest running Canadian-made automobile.
Southwestern Ontario Heritage Village and Transportation Museum is just one stop on the Canadian Cultural Experience Tour, which takes a look at the manmade and natural features that make our region unique, from the auto industry that forms the backbone of our economy to the distilling magnate who built-up an entire section of our city, and contributed to its cultural richness.
