Southwestern Ontario Heritage Village
& Transportation Museum, Essex View Hi Resolution Version Southwestern Ontario Heritage Village brings together over a dozen buildings of local significance, which date to the late 1800s. The two-storey log cabin, the Olinda General Store, Woodslee Lock-up and Elford Church have been restored to their original state, and feature various pioneer demonstrations. The Transportation Museum displays modes of transportation from the mid-1800's onward, from a horse-drawn hearse and fire trucks to the oldest running Canadian-made automobile. |
